FREMONT -- Dawn Marie Jenkins Downer, 36, departed this life Sunday, May 23, 2010, at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
She was employed with Wal-Mart in Rosewood.
Funeral services will be held Wednes-day evening, May 26, 2010, at 7 p.m. from the chapel of Howell Funeral Home in Goldsboro. A graveside service will be held Thursday, May 27, 2010, at 3 p.m. at Wayne Memorial Park.
Dawn in survived by her father, Raymond Jenkins of Fremont; her husband, Kirk Downer; two brothers, Johnny Jenkins of Pikeville and Greg Jenkins and wife, Bobbie, of Dudley; three sisters, Tammy Easter and husband, Larry, of Saulston, Theresa Turbyfill and husband, J.J., of Mount Olive and LeaAnn Bullock and husband, Neil, of Saulston; and a special niece, Niki Williams and her daughter, Brooke "Brat Brat."
She was preceded in death by her mother, Carol Lee Jenkins and her brother, Raymond Jenkins.
The family will receive friends Wednesday evening following the service at Howell Funeral Home and other times at 301 Vail Road in Pikeville.
