WARSAW -- Herbert Hawes Smith, 91, Herbert Smith Lane in Magnolia, died Sunday.
Funeral will be held tonight at 7 at Community Funeral Home of Warsaw. Burial will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Blanton Family Cemetery in Rose Hill.
He was born Jan. 18, 1919, in Duplin County to the late Montgomery George Smith and Maggie Blanton Smith.
He is survived by his wife, Doris J. Smith of the home; two sons; three daughters; two stepsons; and two stepdaughters.
Visitation will follow the service.
