Robert Jackson Cain, 78, died Tuesday at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
Funeral will be held Monday at 1 p.m. at Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home, with the Rev. Deacon Webster James officiating. Burial will be at Pineview Cemetery.
He was born in Charleston, W. Va., to the late Oscar and Mary Cain and was married to Doris Davenport Cain.
In addition to his wife, Mr. Cain is survived by a son.
The family will receive friends Sunday from 7 to 9 p.m. at Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home and at other times at the home of Robert Cain, 109 Armstrong Drive in Goldsboro.
