LUCILLE CREECH HOLLAND

Lucille Creech Holland passed away on Friday morning at Autumn Care of Myrtle Grove in Wilmington.

Graveside services will be held Monday at noon at Evergreen Memorial Ceme-tery, with the Rev. Richard Overman officiating. The family will greet friends Monday following the service at the cemetery.

Mrs. Holland was born in Johnston County on Nov. 23, 1916, to the late Preston Creech and Victoria Peedin Creech. She was married to the late Alton Holland.

Mrs. Holland had worked as a speech therapist for Wayne County Schools for more than 23 years. After retirement, Mrs. Holland volunteered at Wayne Mem-orial Hospital. She was a member of Union Grove Free Will Baptist Church.

Mrs. Holland is survived by her daughter, Ann H. Overman and husband, Richard; a sister, Shelba Keene of Four Oaks; her brothers, Donald Creech of Pine Level and Shurrell Creech of Charlotte; two grandchildren, Amy O. Register and husband, Chip, and Chris Overman and wife, Dawn; and three great-grandchildren, Tori, Noah and Nathaniel.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Harold Creech and Lester Creech.
