WARSAW -- John C. "JC" Kornegay Sr., 57, 115 Gaston St., died Jan. 21 at Duplin General Hospital.
A life celebration Service will be held Saturday at 1 p.m. at Garris Funeral Home chapel, with Dr. Anthony J. Connors officiating. Burial will be in Martin Cemetery.
Born in Duplin County, he is the son of the late Rudolph and Lonnie Vann Kornegay.
One son survives.
A viewing will be held Friday from 3 to 6 p.m. at Garris Funeral Home chapel preparation for the funeral procession.
