Vivian Laverne Joyner, 613 Eleventh St., died Thursday.
The funeral will be held Monday at 11 a.m. at White Oak Grove Original Free Will Baptist Church, 2261 Big Daddy's Road in Pikeville, with elder George Wiggins officiating. Interment will be at Wayne Memorial Park.
She is survived by her mother, Doris Joyner of the home; two brothers, William (Catherine) Joyner of Goldsboro and Michael (Angela) Joyner of LaGrange; two sisters, Vicky Cauthen and Sandra Faye Davis of Goldsboro; seven aunts, Mamie Edwards, Edna (Craston) Artis, Earline Altice and Catherine Brown of Goldsboro, Gloria Brown of Pikeville, Arlene Powell of Norfolk, Va., and Iva Jean (Fred) Bibby of Richmond, Va.; an uncle, Ralph (Betty) Barnes of Dudley; a great-aunt, Gladys Davis of Goldsboro; seven nieces, Tracey Ohnmeiss, LaTosha Cauthen, Nicole Joyner, Whitney Joyner, Angelica Knight, Akelei Davis and Shavone Oates; a nephew, Michael Joyner II; two great-nieces; four great-nephews; and a host of cousins, other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be today from 1 to 7 p.m. at Hamilton Funeral Chapel, 423 S. James St. in Goldsboro, with the family receiving friends there from 6 to 7 p.m.
At other times, friends will be received at the residence, where the family will also gather for the procession one hour prior to the funeral Monday.
