William S. Anderson, 93, died Sunday at Liberty Commons Nursing Home and Rehabilitation Center in Benson.
Funeral service will be held Wednesday at 7 p.m. at Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home, with pastor Jimmy Lambert officiating. The family will receive friends following the service. A graveside service will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. at Wayne Memorial Park.
He was born in Wayne County to the late Jessie and Janie Anderson and was married to the late Katie Anderson.
Mr. Anderson is survived by a son, Larry Anderson and wife, Beverly, of Princeton; two brothers, Woodrow Anderson of Goldsboro and Leslie Anderson of Mount Olive; and a granddaughter, Amanda Martin of Princeton.
