LAGRANGE -- Ronnie Gray Summerlin, 56, passed away Wednesday at his home.
Funeral services will be held Friday at 2 p.m. at Rouse Funeral Home. Interment will be at Summerlin Family Cemetery.
Ronnie was born June 23, 1953, in Wayne County to the late Harvey and Effie Register Summerlin.
Ronnie last worked as a truck driver with Laughlin Poultry Farms. He enjoyed fishing and Carolina Basketball.
Ronnie is survived by four children, Angela Summerlin, Jody Summerlin and wife, Audra, Amanda Summerlin and Ashley Summerlin all of La Grange; three grandchildren, Daveon Summerlin, Keontae Kittrell and Onassis Gardner; four sisters, Sally Barnett of Dudley, Shelby Blizzard of Mount Olive, Kathy Davis of Burns, Ore., and Donnie Moore of Clayton; and four brothers, Harvey Ray Summerlin of York, S.C., Jimmy Summerlin of Mount Holly, Tunk Summerlin of Seven Springs and Johnny Summerlin of Goldsboro.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Rita Taylor Summerlin; sister, Linda Carter; and grandchild, Ajaila Kittrell.
The family will receive friends Friday from 1 to 2 p.m. at Rouse Funeral Home and at other times they will be at the home.
