Ostap "Osty" Lewandowskyj, 62, of 705 Arrowpoint Drive, died Thursday at his residence.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
Born in Germany, he was the son of the late John and Katherine Lewandowskyj. He was retired from Franklin Baking Company.
Osty is survived by his wife, Shirley Lewandowskyj; two daughters, April Earle and Christine Stewart, both of Jacksonville, Fla.; one brother, Bohdi Lewandowskyj of Flint, Mich.; three grandchildren, Amanda Hunt, Sean Hunt and John Michael Stewart.
The family suggests in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be directed to "Pennies from Angels," 203 Cox Blvd., Goldsboro, NC 27534.
