ROSSIE R.D. EDWARDS

Rossie Rosalind Daniels Edwards was born in Goldsboro July 22, 1948, to the late Rev. Frank. L. and Janie Williamson Daniels. She departed her earthly life Tuesday at Kitty Askins Hospice Center.
A graveside service will be held Saturday at 3 p.m. at Wayne Memorial Park, with the Rev. James A. Davis, pastor of St. Luke Missionary Baptist Church of Mount Olive, officiating.
She was educated at Dillard High School and retired from O'Berry Center with many years of dedicated service.
She was a member of Holly Green Missionary Baptist Church of Dudley.
She leaves to mourn her death two children, Keith Nigel Edwards and Karmen N. Edwards Little both of Goldsboro; seven grandchildren, Marcellous Johnson, Breanna Edwards, Quan Little, Corey Edwards, Andre South, Anthony Little and Dallen Edwards; three sisters, Bessie Daniels Jones, Jannie Daniels Powell of Goldsboro and Sadie Daniels Height of Knightdale; and two brothers, Frank L. Daniels Jr. and Hubert B. Daniels of Goldsboro.
Visitation will be held Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Rhodes Funeral Home chapel.
The family will receive friends at 617 Claiborne St. and the funeral procession will line up at the same address.
Rhodes Funeral Home of Goldsboro is serving the family.
