Mildred Briley Jordan, 86, died Friday evening at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
Graveside services will be held Monday at 11 a.m. at Wayne Memorial Park with Pastor Doug Bartlett officiating.
Born in Pitt County, she was the daughter of the late Joseph R. and Lizzie Moore Briley and wife of the late Almond A. Jordan. She was a member of the Mount Olive First Pentecostal Holiness Church and was formerly a Sunday school teacher.
Mrs. Jordan is survived by two daughters, Brenda Johnson and her husband, Billy Ray, of Mount Olive, Sue Gulley and husband, Bruce, of Raleigh; five grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren.
Family members will greet friends today from 7 until 9 p.m. at Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home and at other times will be at the home of her daughter, Brenda and Bill Johnson, 2449 O'Berry Road, Mount Olive.
Flowers are welcome and memorial gifts may be directed to the Mount Olive First Pentecostal Holiness Church, 130 Ed Edmundson Road, Mount Olive, NC 28365.
