CALYPSO -- Edith W. "Toy" Waters, 89, died Saturday at Mount Olive Care Center.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday at Tyndall Funeral Home with Dr. Gregory A. Day officiating. Burial will follow in Calypso Cemetery.
The family will be receiving friends today from 3 until 5 p.m. at Tyndall Funeral Home, and at other times at the residence.
Mrs. Waters is survived by her husband, Mosley C. Waters; three sons and daughters-in-law, Ricky and Terry Waters of Calypso, Jim and Cathy Waters of Fuquay-Varina, and Stoney and Laura Ann Waters of Mount Olive; four grandchildren, Karri Jo Jernigan and husband, Troy Jr., Derick Waters, Tiffanie Hawley and husband, Fred, and Christina Waters; and three great-grandchildren, Lizie Grace Phipps, Troy Edwin Jernigan III, and Nathaniel Frederick Hawley.
Flowers are welcome, or for those wishing to make memorial contributions, the family suggests the Calypso Baptist Church or the Calypso Volunteer Fire Department.
