RICHARD HINSON JR.

Richard Hinson Jr., 90, passed away Monday at his home.
A service of remembrance will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Rouse Funeral Home, with the Rev. Ronnie Hobgood officiating. Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery.
Mr. Hinson was born May 23, 1919, in Wayne County to the late Lillie Taylor Hinson and Richard Carl Hinson Sr.
He was a retired farmer and carpenter, who enjoyed hunting and fishing.
Mr. Hinson was a member of LaGrange First Free Will Baptist Church, where he has served on the building committee and as an usher.
Mr. Hinson is survived by three children, Carl Hinson and wife, Cleo, of LaGrange, Harry F. Hinson and wife, Faye, of Fremont and Kaye Hinson Alligood and husband, Charlie, of Washington; five grandchildren, Pat Deaver and husband, Jerry, of LaGrange, Amy Burke and husband, Ray, of LaGrange, Tracy Edmundson and husband, Jamie, of Fremont, Shannon Tyler and husband, Brian, of Washington and Melissa Weaver and husband, Mike, of Pikeville; 12 great-grandchildren, Ashleigh Burke, Anna Burke, Drew Burke, Anna Deaver, Casey Deaver, Brianna Edmundson, Coleman Edmundson, Amber Weaver, Trent Weaver, Derek Weaver, Patrick Tyler and Lillie Grace Tyler.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Isabell Hinson.
The family will receive friends tonight from 7 to 9 at Rouse Funeral Home and at other times they will be at the home.
