Minnie Bell Mathis Kornegay, 98, of 702 N. Teachey Road, Wallace, died Thursday morning, Oct. 15, 2009, at Lower Cape Fear Hospice, Wilmington.
Funeral arrangements for Mother Minnie Bell will be today, Oct. 18, 2009, at Rose Hill Funeral Home Chapel, 472 Wells Town Road, Rose Hill, at 3 p.m. Burial will follow at Duplin Memorial Gardens, North 117 Highway, Teachey.
Left to cherish to her precious memories are her daughter, Freda Kornegay of Wallace; one stepdaughter, Nannie L. Standford of Wallace; nine grandchildren; and a host of great grandchildren; nieces, nephews, cousins and friends who loved her dearly.
A visitation of family and friends was held Saturday, Oct. 17, 2009, from 6 to 7 p.m. at Rose Hill Funeral Home.
