AYDEN -- Edith Jean Chase, 62, formerly of Hugo, died Thursday at Pitt Memorial Hospital.
A service of remembrance will be held today at 3 p.m. at Trinity United Methodist Church with Pastor Vito Bisogno officiating.
Jean is survived by three children.
The family will receive friends following the service of remembrance and at other times they will be at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Tim Chase, 2668 Fred Everett Road, Kinston. Memorials may be made to Trinity United Methodist Church, 2626 Pauls Path Road, Kinston, NC 28504.
