KINSTON -- Louise Stallings Dawson Forbes, 79, of Kinston, died Friday at her home.
A service of remembrance will be held today at 3 p.m. at Rouse Funeral Home with the Rev. Vito Bisogno officiating. Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery.
Mrs. Forbes was born in Wayne County to the late William Preston Stallings and Emma Wade Stallings. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Forrest "Jack" Dawson and the Rev. Dan Forbes.
Mrs. Forbes is survived by three sons.
Flowers are welcome or memorials may be made to Trinity United Methodist Church, 3768 Banks School Road, Kinston, NC 28504. Arrangements are with Rouse Funeral Home, LaGrange.
