Jessie Chestnut, 62, B. J. Drive, died Monday in Pitt Memorial Hospital in Greenville.
His life will be celebrated Saturday at 3:30 p.m. at God's House of Prayer (Old Goldsboro Chapel). His mortal remains will be laid to rest in Elmwood Cemetery.
He leaves precious and sacred memories to his daughters, Sharon Chestnut Whitehead and Veronica Chestnut; granddaughters Sharissa, Shonice and Jasmine all of Charlotte; seven siblings; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be Friday from 3 to 6 p.m. at McIntyre Funeral Home Ministries of Goldsboro.
The family will assemble at the funeral home Saturday at 2:45 p.m. in preparation for the funeral procession.
