LAGRANGE -- Malcolm Edward Benton, 86, died Thursday at Lenoir Memorial Hospital.
Graveside services will be held Saturday at 1 p.m. at Fairview Cemetery, with the Rev. Jerry Mitchell officiating.
Mr. Benton was born March 21, 1923, in Lenoir County to the late Jesse Benton and Julia Carter Benton.
The family will receive friends Saturday from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Rouse Funeral Home.
Arrangements are with Rouse Funeral Home of LaGrange.
