MOUNT OLIVE -- Kevin Curtis Johnson, 36, of 1535 O'Berry Road, died Friday at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
Graveside services will be 1 p.m. Monday at Wayne Memorial Park with the Rev. James Spencer officiating.
A native of Wayne County, he was the son of Lawrence A. Johnson and his wife, Kathy, of Mar-Mac and his mother, Daryl Anderson Cartledge and her husband, David, of Mount Olive. Kevin was a self-employed mechanic.
Kevin is survived in addition to his parents by his wife, Sonya Brown Johnson; children, Brittany Nicole Johnson and Brandon Curtis Johnson; brother, Tim Johnson of Mobile, Ala.; sister, Jennifer Lynn Johnson of Goldsboro; stepchildren, Joshua Tye Mckown, Paige Frances Gallaher, and John Henry Powell, Amir Niam Almojodid; grandparents, Willard and Evelyn Sutton Anderson; niece, Courtney Weisner; special friend, Tiffany Warren and his extended family.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Larry Johnson, his paternal grandparents, and William and Mildred Johnson.

The family will receive friends today from 4 until 6 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home and at other times at the home of his mother and stepfather, 1491 O'Berry Road, Mount Olive.
