MOUNT OLIVE -- George H. Parker, 89, died Wednesday at Duplin General Hospital.
The funeral service will be Monday at 2 p.m. at First Original Free Will Baptist Church of Warsaw. Burial will follow in Devotional Gardens.
He was born in Sampson County Aug. 26, 1919, to the late Alfred James and Lillian Edge Parker.
He is survived by his wife, Essie Parker of the home, and three children.
Visitation will be Sunday from 7 to 9 p.m. at Community Funeral Home of Warsaw.
Community Funeral Home is serving the family.
