MOUNT OLIVE -- Victoria Phillips Whittaker, 95, 711 S. Chestnut St., died Friday at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
Mrs. Whittaker's home-going celebration will be held Sunday at 2 p.m. at Gospel Light United Holy Church, with the Rev. Irvin A. Whittaker II officiating. Burial will follow in Carver Cemetery.
Born in Hinds County, Miss., she was the daughter of the late Ado and Matilda Phillips.
Six children survive.
The family will receive friends Saturday from 6 to 7 p.m. at Garris Funeral Home Chapel and at other times at the home of William and Eldress Dorothy McDaniel, 711 S. Chestnut St., Mount Olive.
