Eva Crawford Stanton, 95, died Wednesday at Baptist Hospital in Columbia, S.C.
Funeral services will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. at First Baptist Church in Goldsboro with Dr. Glenn Phillips Jr. officiating. Burial will follow in Willowdale Cemetery.
A native of Wayne County, she was the daughter of the late Walter Nathan and Mary Elizabeth Jernigan Crawford and was married to the late Arnold F. Stanton.
Mrs. Stanton was a lifelong resident of Goldsboro and is survived by a large, loving family. Left to mourn her passing are her sons, Arnold F. Stanton Jr. of Newark, Del., Thomas H. Stanton IV (Donna) of Cincinnati, Ohio; daughter, Janet Stanton Keith of Columbia, S.C.; grandchildren, Valerie Stanton Smith (Tom), Shay Stanton Shwahla (Gary), Thomas H. Stanton V. (Becky) and Catherine Stanton Smith; great-grandchildren, Gavin Stanton Shwahla, Sara Leah Shwahla, Jack Thomas Smith, Eva Katherine Smith, Terrence Stanton, Christopher Harmon, Brian Harmon and Jacob Smith; one great-great-grandchild, Stephanie Stanton; nieces and nephews, Phyllis Alexander Blatt (George), Jackie Log Little, Susan Log Hopkins (Don), Jeffrey Crawford (Caryl), Chloe Crawford, Jo Musick (Jimmy) and Beth Gore (David); and numerous other great-nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her siblings, Walter Nathan Crawford, Sydney Crawford, Sophia Crawford Stanton, Margaret Crawford Alexander, Ethel Crawford and Gladys Crawford Log.
Family will greet friends on Saturday at 10 a.m. at the church.
