Anita Bynum, 44, 400 Old Smithfield Road, died Wednesday at the O'Berry Center.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 1 p.m. in the chapel of McIntyre Funeral Home Ministries.
She was preceded in death by her father, Jesse Thomas Black.
She is survived by her mother, Eleanor Bynum King; stepfather, Thomas King, both of Antelope, Calif.; her siblings, Mariska Chatman and Lafayette Jordan of Sacramento, Calif.; uncles, Curtis (Patricia) Bynum of Dudley and David Bynum of Goldsboro; and aunts, Lois Brown of Sacramento, Calif., and Evelyn Griffin of Durham.
A viewing will be held Wednesday from noon to 1 p.m. The family will receive friends at the funeral home following the service. The family will receive friends at other times at 6004 Highland Ave., Dudley, where they will also assemble in preparation for the funeral procession.
