AVERY EARL WHITFIELD

Avery Earl Whitfield, 37, was released from his earthly tabernacle on Saturday, Feb. 28.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Rosa Whitfield, and his grandparents, the Rev. Frederick and Evelyn Whitfield, who lovingly raised him.
Funeral services will be held Saturday at 1 p.m. at Refuge Temple, with Pastor Timothy Whitfield officiating. Internment will follow in the Old Mill Cemetery.
Survivors include three aunts, Evelyn Wilson, Linda Wiley and Dorothy Blackman; and five uncles, John Whitfield, Michael Whitfield, Leslie Whitfield, Dwayne Whitfield and Timothy Whitfield.
A viewing will be held Friday from 2 to 6 p.m. at McIntyre Funeral Home
