MOUNT OLIVE -- Sarah Smith Williams, 76, 918 S. Church St., died Sunday at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
Homegoing services will be held Friday at 11 a.m. at Smith Chapel Missionary Baptist Church, 137 Veach's Mill Road, Warsaw, with the Rev. Herman Bell and Elder Johnnie McPhail officiating. Burial will follow in Wayne Memorial Park North.
She was the daughter of the late Roosevelt Sr. and Eula Mae Kornegay.
Cherished memories will linger in the hearts of her husband, the Rev. Bobby Williams of the home; a daughter, Lisa S. (Elder Ronnie) McNair of Goldsboro; two sons, Danny (Tinda) Smith and Johnathan (Benita) Smith, all of Mount Olive; two brothers, Roosevelt Jr. (Gerturde) Kornegay of Goldsboro and Horice Kornegay of Mount Olive; four sisters, Elouise Stevens and Bernice Hill of Warsaw, Glenda Allen and Brenda (Elder Johnnie) McPhail of Goldsboro; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
A viewing will be held Thursday from 3 to 7 p.m. at Garris Funeral Home Chapel and the family will be present from 6 to 7 p.m. to receive friends.
Arrangements are being handled by Garris Funeral Home.
