ARNOLD EZZELL

Arnold Ezzell, 84, 1564 Old Grantham Road, died Sunday at his residence.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 3 pm at Black Jack Free Will Baptist Church, with the Rev. Pete Radford officiating. Burial will follow in Woodland Church Cemetery. Family members will greet friends Tuesday one hour prior to the service at the church and, at other times, will be at the home.

Born in Wayne County, he was the son of the late Albert and Naomi Benton Ezzell. He was retired from Cherry Hospital and was a member of Black Jack Free Will Baptist Church.

Mr. Ezzell is survived by his wife, Thelma Ezzell; three daughters, Maggie Campbell and husband, Gene, of Fremont, JoAnn Barbour and husband, Marty, of Pikeville and Wanda Bova and husband, Vince, of Dudley; a son, Al Ezzell and wife, Lisa, of Goldsboro; a sister, Christine Gardner of Smithfield; five grandchildren, Shannon Campbell, Jennifer Parrish, Andra Brown, Kyle Ezzell and Ashley Ezzell; three great-grandchildren, Martin Parrish, Marley Parrish and Cayden Brown; and a special dog, Prissy.
