MRS. GURNIE R. LEE

Mary Lee, 92, died Saturday at Baptist Hospital of Miami, Fla., after a short illness.
A graveside service will be held at Elmwood Cemetery in Fremont on Sunday, March 8 at 1 p.m.
Mary Lee was the wife of the late Gurney R. Lee, Route 2, Fremont and mother of the recently deceased Gurnie R. Lee Jr. of Raleigh.
Mary is survived by her daughters, Ann Lee of Miami, Fla., and Carol Lee Shealy of Santa Barbara, Calif.; grandchildren, Tricia Baker, Todd Baker, Alice Lee, and Hamilton Lee; great-grandchildren Isabelle Baker and Lauren Baker; and brothers, Father Edwin Convey, and Frank Convey.
Mary was predeceased by brothers, William H. Convey and John Convey.
Mary Lee was an amazing person; strong, loyal, intelligent and honest. She was loved and respected by all and will be sorely missed.
Thomas-Yelverton Funer-al Home is in charge of the arrangements.
