David "Skeet" Pickett, 57, of Rose Hill, died Wednesday at New Hanover Regional Medical Center, Wilmington.
Funeral services will be held at Island Creek African Methodist Episcopal Church, Rose Hill, on Monday at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Robert Goode officiating. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Funeral Home Cemetery, Magnolia.
He is survived by his wife, Ruthel Pickett and mother, Essie R. Murray.
A visitation of family and friends will be held tonight from 6 to 7 p.m. at Rose Hill Funeral Home, 472 Wells Town Road, Rose Hill.
Arrangements are being handled by Rose Hill Funeral Home Service.
