Thurman Lee "Ned" Bunch, 60, 1112 N. John St., died Thursday at Kitty Askins Hospice Center.
Funeral services will be held Saturday at noon at First African Baptist Church, 803 Harris St. A viewing will be held Friday from 2 to 7 p.m. at Hamilton Funeral Chapel, 423 S. James St. The committal service will be held Sunday at 1 p.m. at Elmwood Cemetery, Highway 117.
Mr. Bunch is survived by his wife, Johnice Shealy-Bunch; one daughter, Keshia Bunch; two sons, Terrance Bunch and Aaron Kinsey, all of Goldsboro; four stepsons, Lloyd and Jonathan Lewis of Dallas, Texas and Jamoz McMillan of New Bern and Coys Raye of Goldsboro; two brothers, Ricky Bunch of Chapel Hill and Anthony Bunch of Durham; one sister, Christine Strowbridge of Goldsboro; nine grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
