Clyde Eugene Custer, 56, of Britthaven of Smithfield, died Monday morning.
Memorial services will be held tonight at 6 at Casey Funeral Home with the Rev. Andy Stovall officiating.
He was born Oct.19, 1952 and was the son of the late Rosa S. Custer.
Clyde loved being a truck driver. He worked for 27 years with Security Atlas, previously Mayflower Moving and Storage Company, in Goldsboro. He also loved sports.
He is survived by his wife, Gail Custer of Princeton; son, Michael Eugene Custer of Princeton; daughter, Tonya Williams and husband, Ryan Williams, of Princeton; father, Clyde William Custer of Newell, W.Va.; brothers, Ricky Lynn Custer and wife, Shelia, of Goldsboro and Richard Allen Custer and wife, Jean, of Goldsboro; sisters, Helen C. Reeves and husband, Wayne, of Goldsboro and Carol C. Hall and husband, Craig, of Clayton; and grandchildren Dylan Michael Custer and Oriana Williams.
The family will receive friends tonight beginning at 5 and immediately following the memorial service.
