ANNA BELLE RHODES

Anna Belle Rhodes, 76, 102 Hillview Lane in the Belfast community, passed away Saturday, Feb. 14, 2009, at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
Funeral services will be held this evening at 7 in the chapel of Howell Funeral Home and Crematory in Goldsboro. Graveside services will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. at Wayne Memorial Park.
Mrs. Rhodes was born in Greene County on Oct. 2, 1932, to the late Lem and Ada Head. She was preceded in death by her husband, Russell Leon Rhodes.
She is survived by her two daughters, Cheryl Rhodes of Lake Waccamaw and Patricia Dudley and her husband, Neil, of Rosewood; one brother, Jimmie Head and his wife, Edith, of Eureka; one sister, Onnie Lee Bass of Snow Hill; and two grandchildren, Lauren and Kayla Dudley.
The family will receive friends following the funeral service at Howell Funeral Home and other times at the residence.
