Barbara Peterson McGowan, 2009 Big Piney Grove Road, Clinton, died Saturday at Kitty Askins Hospice Center.
Funeral services will be held Saturday at Big Piney Grove Baptist Church, 3245 Big Piney Grove Road, Clinton, at 1 p.m. Burial will follow the service at Peterson Family Cemetery. A wake will be held at the funeral home tonight from 6 to 7.
She is survived by her mother, Agnes Boykin Peterson; husband, Larry McGowan; and one daughter.
She was preceded in death by her father, Woodrow Peterson.
Arrangements are being handled by Summerville-Boykin Funeral Home, 65 Belgrade Ave., 3rd St., Garland, N.C., 28441.
