ROSA MAE JOHNSON MILES

Rosa Mae Johnson Miles passed away Saturday.
Funeral services will be held Friday at 1 p.m. at Poplar Springs Christian Church, 6115 Old Stage Road, Raleigh, N.C., 27614. Family hour will held from noon to 1 p.m.
She was the daughter of the late Deacon Roosevelt Johnson and the Rev. Naomi Silver Johnson.
She was a graduate of the 1960 class of Dillard High School, Winston-Salem, and A and T State University.
She is survived by her daughter, Shawnte Miles of Brandon, Fla.; four sisters, Margaret Johnson, Gladdie Johnson Scott, Ruth Annette Johnson Bowden and Obelia Johnson Exum; two brothers, Dr. Elbert L. Johnson and the Rev. Roosevelt L. Johnson; one sister-in-law, Niagara D. Johnson; two brothers-in-law, the Rev. Michael Bowden and Dr. Herbert Exum; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Arrangements are being handled by Haywood Funeral Home in Raleigh.
