RANDY SMITH

Randy Smith, 57, passed away on Wednesday at Pitt Memorial Hospital in Greenville.
Funeral services will be held in the chapel of Seymour Funeral Home on Friday at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Bobby Heath officiating. Burial will follow in Wayne Memorial Park.
Randy was born in Wayne County on Sept. 5, 1951, to the late Jim Berry Smith and Ruby Vinson Nichols. He was married to the late Linda W. Smith. Randy owned and operated Smith's Lawn Service.
Randy is survived by his sister, Glenda S. Martikke of Goldsboro; his niece, Kimberly Guillemette and husband, Steve, and their children, Andrew and Joseph of Ayden; his nephew, Joseph Martikke of Goldsboro; his sisters-in-law, Marie Barnette and husband, Wayne, of Goldsboro and Blanche Pope of Smithfield; his brothers-in-law, A.C. West and wife, Carol, of Goldsboro and Glenn West and wife, Donna, of Raleigh; and special nieces, Beverly Ann Deans and Lee Szatkowski.
In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Edward Ronnie Smith.

The family will receive friends tonight from 7 to 9 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home.
