Helen Parker Jones, 86, 2376 Pineview Cemetery Road, Seven Springs, died Sunday at Kitty Askins Hospice Center.
A funeral service will be held Wednesday at Shumate-Faulk Chapel at 3 p.m. with Dr. Jerry Jackson officiating. Burial will follow at Wayne Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 1 to 2:30 p.m. Wednesday prior to the service and at other times at the home.
She was the daughter of the late James Henry and Annie Outlaw Parker, and was the wife of the late Jesse Robert Jones Jr.
Mrs. Jones is survived by a son, Bobby Jones and wife, Sandi, of Seven Springs; a daughter, Donna Housden and husband, Cecil, of Fort Worth, Texas; three grandchildren, Zachary and Parker Jones and Franklin Housden; three great-grandsons; a brother, James Parker and wife, Melba, of Albertson; a sister-in-law, Ruth Parker of Mount Olive; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Kitty Askins Hospice Center, care of Director of Community Development -- 3HC --, 2402 Wayne Memorial Drive, Goldsboro, N.C., 27534.
