Hayward Earl Crawford, 67 of 500 Genola St., Fayetteville died Saturday at UNC Hospital, Chapel Hill.
Funeral services will be held Friday at 10 a.m. at St. Delight United Holy Church in Parkstown. Burial, with full military rites, will follow in the Sandhills State Veterans Cemetery in Fayetteville.
Among his survivors is his wife, Joyce Crawford; two children; and his sister, Gwendolyn Crawford Mason.
Visitation will be held Thursday from 2 to 6 p.m. at McIntyre Funeral Home Ministries in Goldsboro. The family will receive friends at 708 E. Elm St., where they will also assemble in preparation for the funeral procession.
