RALEIGH -- Richard Owen "Ricky" Wiggins, 56, passed away on Monday at Wake Medical Center.
Graveside services will be held today at 3 in Princeton Cemetery with the Rev. Fred Crank officiating.
Ricky was born in Wayne County on Aug. 28, 1952, to Mahala Radford Wiggins of Goldsboro and the late Thomas Cleveland Wiggins. He worked with United Parcel Service in Greensboro.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, Cheryl Wiggins; his nephew, Marty Wiggins and wife, Nan Pierce Wiggins; his niece, Berri Wiggins Johnson and husband, Bryan; great-nephews, Cullen M. Wiggins and Christian Carpenter; and his sister-in-law, Marlene D. Wiggins.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his brother, William "Bill" Wiggins.
The family will receive friends following the service and other times at 1207 Crisp St., Goldsboro.
