KENLY -- Mrs. Lucille Hin-nant Snipes, 98, died Tuesday at home with her family.
The funeral will be Friday at 7 p.m. at Kenly Free Will Baptist Church with the Rev. Howard Scott officiating. Family will receive friends after the service. Burial will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. at Kenly Cemetery.
She was born in Johnston County on July 29, 1910, to the late H.A. and Mero Jones Hinnant.
She is survived by a son, a daughter, a brother, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Millard Snipes Sr.; two sisters; and a brother.
