Bonita Kornegay McIntyre, 62, 278 Roberts Road, Newport, died Wednesday.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday at 2 p.m. at Casey Funeral Home in Princeton with the Rev. Lewis Baker officiating.
Bonnie was born Oct. 1, 1946, in Johnston County and was the daughter of the late James Lemy and Dorothy "Gene" Casey Kornegay.
She is survived by her husband, Lewis Franklin McIntyre III; a son; a daughter and son-in-law; a sister; and a granddaughter.
The family will receive friends beginning at 1 p.m. Saturday afternoon and immediately following the memorial service.
