Margaret "Peggy" Chandler Sutton, 76, of 180 Slick Rock Road, in the Daly Community, died Saturday morning at SunBridge Care Center in Mount Olive.
Graveside funeral services will be held on Monday at 1:30 p.m. at Pineview Ceme-tery near Seven Springs. The Rev. Randall Barfield will officiate. The family will receive friends at the Sutton residence on Sunday from 6 until 8 p.m.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Mitchell H. and Agnes Pearl Williams Chandler; her husband, Leland S. Sutton; a son-in-law, C.W. Smith Jr.; and a granddaughter, Abigail Irene Sutton.
Mrs. Sutton is survived by two daughters, LaVerne S. Barwick and husband, Willard, of LaGrange, and Margaret Katherine "Kathy" S. Smith of the Pricetown community of Seven Springs; three sons, Johnny Bill Sutton and wife, Ruby, of Seven Springs, Leland Scott Sutton of Carthage, and Anthony Clark Sutton and wife, Jean, of Port Richey, Fla.; two sisters, Doris Kasper of Mount Olive, and Sylvia Jean Hawes of Rose Hill; 11 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
Funeral arrangements are in the care of Tyndall Funeral Home, Mount Olive.
