KINSTON -- Laura Smith Davis, 89, 720 Bland-Howell Road, died Tuesday at her home.
Funeral services will be held tonight at 7 p.m. at Rouse Funeral Home with the Rev. Greg Stancil officiating. Interment services will be held Friday at 11 a.m. from Westview Cemetery.
Mrs. Davis was born Jan. 4, 1919, in Lenoir County to the late Quincy and Mamie Croom Smith.
Mrs. Davis is survived by her husband, Horace Davis; daughter; two sisters; four brothers; four grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; four great-great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends following the service and at other times they will be at the home.
