FAISON -- Bishop James Louis Williams, 87, 7348 Suttontown Road, died Monday at Mary Gran Nursing Center.
Funeral services will be held Friday at 2 p.m. at the Western-Assembly Building, Newton Grove with Bishop Charles Williams officiating. Burial will follow in the King Family Cemetery.
Born in Pender County he was the son of the late Nixon Moore and Roney Williams.
He is survived by his wife, Maude Mae Williams; four daughters, one sister, 10 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren.
A viewing will be held on Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Goshen Disciple Church of Christ with inspirational services and the family present from 7 to 8 p.m.
