VINIAL B. JOHNSON

Mrs. Vinial Batts Johnson, 91, slept away Monday at Wayne Memorial Hospital.

Funeral services will be held Saturday at 12:30 p.m. at Christ Centered Church, 1303 Florida St. with apostle Dennis Jacobs officiating. Burial will follow in Wayne Memorial Park North.

Mrs. Johnson may be viewed on Friday at Hamilton Funeral Chapel, 423 S. James St., from 2 to 7 p.m.

She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Vera (Ronnie) Harmon of the home; two sons, Albert (Gail) Jones and Allen (Lena) Jones of Goldsboro; 11 grandchildren, Daniel Johnson, JoVon (Shadeeya) Hooper, all of Wilmington, Syreeta (Paul) Blue of Kenly, Jasmine Harmon of the home, Roneysha Harmon of Goldsboro, and Sally Harmon of Baltimore, Md., Timothy (Takia) Jones of High Point, Albert Jones Jr. of Alexandria, Va., Cheryl Jones and Kim (Larry) Franklin of Raleigh, Kristal Jones of Stantonsburg; nine great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews including a special nephew, Larry (Mary and daughters, Lariett, LaToyia, and Renita) Bracey, and a host of other relatives and friends.

What we have done for ourselves alone dies with us;

What we have done for others and the world remains, and is immortal.
