Mother Chanie Lee Roberts Nealous, Mrs. Chanie, as she was widely known, 85, died Sunday at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
Visitation will be held on Friday. A viewing will be held on Friday from 3 to 6 p.m. with the family present from 6 to 8 p.m. at Lightner Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 10 a.m. at Smith Chapel Free Will Baptist Church in Mount Olive with elder Douglas Kornegay officiating. Burial will follow in Wayne Memorial Park North.
A Wayne County native, she was the daughter of the late Ira and Bertha Branch and was the wife of the late Theodore Nealous.
She is survived by one son, one sister, and other members of the family.
