J.T. Pagitt, 73, 1803 E. Azalea Drive, passed away on Monday morning at his residence.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home with the Rev. Steve Holder officiating. Burial will follow in Wayne Memorial Park.
Born in Poynor, Texas, he was the son of the late Joe Tom and Nellie Jo Woodard Pagitt.
Mr. Pagitt is survived by his wife, Anne O'Brien Pagitt, three sons, and five daughters.
The family will greet friends tonight from 7 to 9 p.m. at Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home and at other times will be at the home. Flowers are welcome, or the family requests that memorial donations be sent to the American Cancer Society at 930-B Wellness Drive, Greenville, N.C., 27834.
