KENANSVILLE -- Mr. John Robert Newkirk, better known as "Johnnie", 75, died Monday at Duplin General Hospital.
A celebration of life service will be held on Saturday at noon at Rose Hill Funeral Home Chapel, 472 Wells Town Road, Rose Hill, with pastor Travis Newkirk officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Funeral Home Cemetery, Highway 903, Magnolia.
"Johnnie" was the son of the late Lula Newkirk.
Mr. Newkirk leaves to cherish his memories a special cousin; three friends; and many other relatives and friends.
A visitation of family and friends will be held on Friday from 6 to 7 p.m. at Rose Hill Funeral home, 472 Wells Town Road, Rose Hill.
