TAMPA, Fla. -- Terrance Turner, 22, 9206 Camino Villa Blvd., died Sunday from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday at 2 p.m. at St. James Disciples Church, Fremont with minister Mark "Tony" Sutton and minister Verna Daye officiating. He will be laid to rest in Tampa, Fla.

He leaves a legacy of memories and love to his parents, Russell and Brenda Gail Barnes Turner; one brother, Russell M. and Nani Turner of Tampa, Fla.; one nephew, Baby Kaiden Turner of Tampa, Fla.; paternal grandmother, Voflorence Turner of Sterling, Va.; nine aunts, Carrie Barnes and Vivian Barnes both of Fremont, Mary Pate of Pikeville, Edna Parker of Goldsboro, Anita Green of Fayetteville, Bessie Barnes and Margie Barnes of Brooklyn, N.Y., Eva Tates of Sterling, Va., and Barbara Locke of Lorton, Va.; four uncles, James Barnes of Fremont, Charles Turner of Manassas, Va., Michael Turner of Sterling, Va., Tar Turner of Leesburg, Va.; godparents, Louise and Steve Granby of Panama, Fla.; two best friends, Damien and Earl of Tampa, Fla.; other relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends at the home of Carrie Barnes, 918 Goldsboro St., Fremont, and will also assemble there in preparation for the funeral procession.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Russell or Brenda Turner towards a contribution to continue research for children with diabetes.
