JAMES E. MYERS

MOUNT OLIVE -- James Edward "Ed" Myers, 85, 914 N.C. Highway 403 W., died Wednesday at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
Services will be held on Friday at 2 p.m. at Tyndall Funeral Home with the Rev. Michael Whitesides and the Rev. Millard Bounds officiating. Burial will follow in Calypso Cemetery.
Mr. Myers, a well-known retired brickmason, was the son of the late George Thomas and Mary Elizabeth Kelly Myers. He was a member of Bear Marsh Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Ruby Arnette Myers of the home; two sisters, Carol Brogden of Mount Olive, and Hilda Langley of Wilmington.
The family will be at the funeral home tonight from 7 to 8:30 p.m. and at other times at the residence.
