Missionary Bernice Gray Smith, 83, 708 S. Goldsboro St., died Wednesday at Kitty Askins Hospice Center.
Funeral services will be held Sunday at 1 p.m. at Greater Morning Star Holiness Church with the Rev. Howard Artis officiating. Burial will follow at Fremont Cemetery.
Six children survive.
Visitation will be held Saturday from 2 to 8 p.m. with the family present from 7 to 8 p.m. at McIntyre Funeral Home Ministries of Goldsboro. The family will receive friends at other times at the residence where they will also assemble in preparation for the funeral procession.
