Joshua Allen Howell, 19, passed away on Thursday due to injuries sustained in an automobile accident.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 11 a.m. at the chapel of Howell Funeral Home and Crematory in Goldsboro. Interment will follow at the Howell Cemetery.
He was employed with Bill Howell and Sons Construction in Goldsboro and was looking forward to the birth of his first child this spring.
Joshua is survived by his wife, Steanna Barnes Howell; his parents, Ricky and Toni Howell of Pikeville; one sister, Emily Howell of Pikeville; his grandmothers, Betty B. Howell of Rosewood and Judy Smith of Rosewood; his great-grandmother, Bessie M. Boyette of Goldsboro; his father and mother-in-law, David Barnes and Angela Barnes of Pikeville; and his brother-in-law, Tyler Barnes of Pikeville.
Joshua was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Bill Howell and Robert E. Smith.
The family will receive friends on Monday from 7 until 8:30 p.m. at Howell Funeral Home and Crematory in Goldsboro and other times at the home of his parents, 1470 Nor-Am Road in Pikeville.
